The Ogun State Police Command says it has launched an investigation to unravel the mystery behind the death of a man whose corpse was discovered in the Kadesh area of Ogijo.

The command’s spokesman, Omotola Odutola, in a statement, said, “The witnesses that raised alarm became curious to find a ‘keke’ plying a route not meant for them. Before the witnesses could properly investigate their suspicion, a corpse was discovered.

“The culprits disappeared without a trace despite the efforts of the concerned citizens to catch up with them.”

Odutola further said that detectives from the Ogijo Division were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered the corpse of the young male adult, estimated to be around 24 years old, and deposited it at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) in Sagamu.

Odutola added that, “No one has reported a missing person fitting the description, and no family member has come forward to file a complaint of a missing person.”
