African Collective, the network connecting Africans and people of African Descent worldwide, has kicked off the inaugural year of  African Collective Global Business  Month. The global event brings exposure to black owned businesses around the world and helps the Global African community get acquainted with the products and services their businesses have to offer.

“Be Black, buy Black, think Black, and all else will take care of itself” was the directive given by the famous African leader Marcus Garvey.

African Collective Global Business Month serves as a rallying call to individuals and businesses worldwide, inviting them to participate in the groundbreaking month-long event dedicated to promoting cooperative economics throughout the Global African community.

Throughout the month of January, all Africans and people of African descent are encouraged to Make The Pledge to support at least four Black/African Owned businesses in the month of January. Here’s how to participate:

Support your chosen businesses by purchasing a product or service from them and/or posting about the business on social media, use #ACBusinessMonth.

Invite others to participate in this pledge. When black businesses thrive, the Global African community thrives! Help black businesses get more exposure and patronage by inviting others to make the pledge as well.

With active participation from people throughout the African Diaspora and the continent of Africa, people globally are making the pledge to support black owned businesses. Make the pledge today.
