Popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, also known as Baba Tee, has admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with comedian Ganiyu Morufu, aka Dara, who was married to skit maker Ijoba Lande.
This confession comes after Baba Tee initially denied the allegations and challenged Lande to provide evidence.
However, during a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, he revealed that the incident happened during a “Truth or Dare” game involving actress Marygold.
He explained, “As we played the game, Marygold went completely naked and kept daring me to Dara, who kept drinking alcohol to avoid the dares. At one point, Marygold dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual intercourse with her, and she agreed.”
Baba Tee claimed he later realized the entire situation was a setup to tarnish his reputation. After his confession, Esabod advised him to apologize to Lande.
On Monday, Baba Tee took to his official Facebook page to issue a public apology, writing:
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande.”
He also expressed shock over the situation, saying, “Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women.”
Marygold, who was Ijoba Lande’s manager, is believed to have recorded the act, adding another twist to the controversy.
