American singer Bruno Mars has set a new record by becoming the first artist in Spotify history to reach 150 million monthly listeners.

Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Mars playfully urged fans to continue streaming his music, joking that he would soon be out of debt.

“Keep streaming! I’ll be out of debt in no time,” he wrote.

Spotify remains one of the most lucrative music streaming platforms.

According to Chart Masters, Drake and Taylor Swift currently lead as the highest earners, making over $7.7 million each from the platform.
