Cubana Chief Priest Shades Burna Boy Over Grammy Loss

Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has taken a jab at Burna Boy following his loss at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Burna Boy was nominated alongside Tems, Asake, and Wizkid for Best African Music Performance, but Tems won the award.

Reacting on his Instagram story, Cubana Chief Priest suggested that Tems might have been denied the win if American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was not in prison.

He wrote:  “If to say Diddy dey outside, dem for use Johnson baby oil rub away her Grammy.”

His comment references Burna Boy’s past association with Diddy, who was recently arrested on multiple charges, including sexual exploitation. Burna Boy has faced frequent criticism over his connection to the rapper.
