FCMB received recognition from the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) during the 2023 Service Ambassadors Awards held in Lagos.

The bank was recognised for being the “Deposit Money Bank with the most significant influence in the DBN Focus States” and the “Participating Financial Institution with the highest allocation of funds to Green Projects.”

Since 2018, First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has provided credit amounting to N1.343 trillion to more than 98,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in various industries.

This comprises a total of N3 billion that has been distributed as credit to more than 50 companies who are actively promoting and advancing renewable energy solutions.

The awards highlight FCMB’s dedication to providing loans that have a significant effect, actively promoting economic growth and the creation of jobs throughout Nigeria.

Mrs. Yemisi Edun, the Managing Director of FCMB, expressed her appreciation for the awards, stating that FCMB is proud to be acknowledged as the Deposit Money Bank with the greatest influence in the DBN Focus States and the Participating Financial Institution with the highest allocation of funds to Green Projects.

The collaboration between us and the Development Bank of Nigeria enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand their operations and make a substantial contribution to the economic progress of Nigeria. These accolades validate our dedication to fulfilling the expectations of our customers and the wider business community.
