DJ Cuppy Makes History As First Nigerian To Host Youth Session At UNGA

Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has made history as the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”

In addition to her role as moderator, Cuppy delivered a musical performance following her keynote session.

Her event marked the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history. Notable attendees included the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and Cape Verde’s president, José Maria Neves.
