The mother of Nigerian music star Ayra Starr has urged women aged 40 and above to embrace TikTok, highlighting its positive impact on her mental well-being and creativity.
In a recent video shared on her page, she proudly referred to herself as a “Gen Z mummy” and expressed her gratitude for the platform.
She explained that TikTok has transformed her perspective on life, keeping her active, engaged, and entertained in ways she never expected.
In her words:
“I am so grateful and privileged to be on TikTok. Thank you for your love and kindness. If your mum is between 40, 50, and 60, encourage them to be on TikTok because it helps them mentally.”
“I am on TikTok now, and my thinking is different than before. I am always thinking of creativity, how I want to look, dress, and create new things. Let them come and teach us their experiences. They don’t have to dance like me.”
