The Courtesy visit was made to laud the Governor for his support in the Just concluded ICT Training which was held in the State.

Speaking to the members of the foundation, He emphasized the importance of ICT in the country which has taken over  most activities across the globe, adding that it has greatly reduced physical contact with people.

However, The Farmer Governor opined that ICT is used even in Agriculture, to make its activities more effective and efficient as well as increase sales.

In his words,he said, “Government cannot employ everybody hence the need for skills acquisition to make people self-reliant. The world is advancing technologically, hence the need to equip people, especially the youth”

“I want to assure you that the state government through the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy will collaborate with the Make Life Better Foundation to train more youth in the State and to make the state a technology inclined state and even one of its kind in the country when it comes to technology”

“I’m making a donation of N5 million to the Foundation for the expansion of its training capacity to the people of the State and also the state would support the 30 beneficiaries of the ICT training with 100 thousand Naira as this would keep them on toes and make them leverage on what they have learnt to be more impactful to their society” he adxed6

Reacting to this, the Founder of the Make Life Better Foundation, Ahmed Abubakar has expressed satisfaction over the Goodwill of the Governor.

In his words, “ I want to sincerely appreciate the Governor for his support so far. The Foundation is a diverse one that unlocks the potential of individuals from different aspects of life ranging from ICT, Agriculture and Fashion among other areas of entrepreneurship. The foundation has trained 30 youths so far in digital training and literacy in its first batch, adding that other batches will follow subsequently”

“As part of our mission, the foundation is looking forward to equipping 500 to 1,000 youths before the end of the year. We are also looking forward to collaborating with the State government and some Government institutions like SMEDAN, and Voice of Nigeria, among others to bring more development to the Society” he added
