I felt indifferent – Comedian Alibaba speaks on birth of triplets

Ace Nigerian comedian Atunyota Akpobome Alleluya, popularly known as Ali Baba, has shared how he felt when he discovered that his wife, Mary Akpobome was expecting triplets.

On April 1, 2024, the veteran standup comedian took to social media to announce the birth of his, triplets with many thinking it was an April Fool Day’s prank.

He said the new babies were born in February and they were dedicated in May.

He said, “Mary and I are happy and overjoyed to welcome our 3 sons, Aaron, Aalexander, and Aandrew, into the Akpobome family. It’s been 2 months since they arrived, and as the days go by, we thank God Almighty for these 3 beautiful blessings. We also want to thank our sisters, brothers, friends, uncles, and aunties for all the support so far.”

Describing how he felt, Alibaba said “I felt indifferent, but I was also happy.”

Before the arrival of the triplets, Alibaba had five children.
