‘I Was A Troll Before Becoming Famous’ – Ayra Starr Reveals

Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that she used to be a social media troll before rising to fame.

Speaking on the I Said What I Said podcast, co-hosted by Feyikemi Abudu and Jola Ayeye, the 22-year-old shared that she once ran a fan page dedicated to rapper Nicki Minaj.

“I had a troll page, I had a Nicki Minaj fan page before I became Ayra Starr,” she admitted.

Since gaining fame, Ayra Starr has been vocal about online trolling, particularly regarding criticism of her fashion choices and posture.

She previously clapped back at trolls, humorously attributing her “bad postures” to carrying Afrobeats on her shoulders.
