Speed Darlington has officially parted ways with his lawyer, Stan Alieke, and his law firm, Law Capitol.
Alieke made the announcement on his Instagram story, stating that both he and his firm have ceased to represent the singer.
He wrote, “I and my law firm (Law Capitol) have officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi and cease to act as his legal attorneys.”
This development comes just a week after Speed Darlington was released from prolonged detention in Kuje prison. The singer had spent two months in custody following accusations of cyberstalking Nigerian artist Burna Boy.
During this time, Alieke had publicly accused Burna Boy of influencing the police to keep Speed Darlington behind bars.
