Nigerian footballer Victor Boniface has reacted humorously after discovering that a 15-year-old boy he gifted his boots after the Nigeria vs. Rwanda match sold them for $100.
Following Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Rwanda on March 21, Boniface gave his boots to a young fan who had attended the match.
However, a recent video surfaced showing the boy admitting that he sold the boots to a Rwandan buyer and used the money to buy a bicycle, school bags, and a uniform.
Reacting to the news, Boniface playfully asked netizens to help him locate the boy, joking that he deserves a 10% cut from the sale.
“Abeg make una find this boy for me. Make he drop 10% of the money ooo,” he wrote.
