Wyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, has guaranteed Kwali Area Council inhabitants that he would finish the building of the abandoned Kwali township stadium.
Wike, who made the commitment on Wednesday when kicking off the building of the 11-kilometer Kwali-Sukuku-Abo road, also told locals that all abandoned projects in the area council inherited by his government would be finished. Our reporter claims that the 20,000-capacity athletic facilities, along with five others throughout the territory’s six area councils, were given under Bala Mohammed’s administration.
The initiative was designed with the goal of developing grassroots athletic activity.
While assuring inhabitants of the area of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to improve their welfare via significant project allocations and job creation, the minister empathised with them about the current high cost of living, saying that the condition is transitory.
He assured that no existing or newly awarded projects under the present government would be abandoned.
