Nollywood actor and self-proclaimed cleric, Yul Edochie, has surprised many by declaring himself a “hardcore traditionalist.”
This comes after he launched his online church, The Salvation Ministry, last year.
However, in a recent Instagram post, Edochie hinted at his shift to traditional African spirituality, stating that he would never abandon the religion of his forefathers.
He also criticized Africans for abandoning their original beliefs due to fear of public opinion.
He wrote: “Because of fear of what people will say, Africans are running away from their powerful religion, their originality. Abomination!”
“I will never abandon the ways of my forefathers. It is built on truth, transparency, and fairness. I’m a hardcore traditionalist.”
