Legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, was seen at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday, April 2.
He attended the hearing alongside his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker representing Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly.
The tribunal is set to rule on a petition by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asue Ighodalo, challenging the election victory of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Osawaru, who serves as the Deputy Majority Leader in the Edo Assembly, was elected under the PDP.
2Baba’s presence at the tribunal follows his recent engagement to Osawaru, which came shortly after his separation from wife, Annie Macaulay, in January. Since then, the couple has been seen together at various public events, with Osawaru even updating her Instagram bio to reflect the singer’s surname, Idibia.
