American rapper, Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent has sold his documentary on music executive, Sean Combs, known as Diddy, to a streaming platform after a bidding war.
According to TMZ, multiple networks and streaming services had been trying to land the series on Diddy ever since 50 Cent, started teasing the documentary several months ago.
50 Cent, who confirmed the deal on Wednesday, May 22, in an Instagram post, wrote: “NETFLIX wins the bidding war but if more victims keep coming out 🤷🏽♂I’m gonna need more episodes.”
The documentary, which is produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios, is reportedly about the allegations of abuse by Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura popularly known as Cassie and some other women.
50 Cent mentioned in a post via his X handle in December 2023 that the “Proceeds from this Documentary will go to victims of Sexual Assault and Rape.”
