Fatai Odunsi, father of Nigerian singer Asake, has publicly appealed for financial assistance after suffering from a partial stroke.

In a now-viral video, Odunsi expressed his distress, claiming that his son has neglected him since his illness began in March 2022.

“Good day everyone, I’m the one that gave birth to Ahmed Asake, the singer. The last time I set my eyes on him was March 2022 when my sickness started. If I call Asake, he won’t pick. Please help me, it is your help that I need.”
