Organizers of reality TV show, Big Brother Naija have awarded Season 7 winner, Josephina Ijeoma Otabor popularly known as Phyna her withheld Bitcoin.

Recall that Phyna voiced her frustrations over the incomplete delivery of her prizes.

In a teary video, the 27-year-old called out the organizers over their inability to pay her winning Crypto BTC prize money worth over N100 million since the show ended two years ago.

However, her colleague, Hazel Oyeze Onou popularly known as Whitemoney confirmed that Phyna has now been paid the outstanding prizes.

According to Whitemoney, during a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Phyna shared that she has now received all her prizes, including the 1 BTC.

Whitemoney elaborated, stating that Phyna’s approach of publicly calling out the organisers proved effective. “I think she went the way she understands, the way she knows. And it worked for her. I was with her a few days ago, and she showed me that she got her BTC,” he said.

He noted that while Phyna’s method might not work for everyone, it successfully ensured she received all her due rewards, including a trip to the Maldives.
