Billboard Predicts Tems To Make History As First African To Win Two Grammys In One Night

Nigerian R&B star Tems, known for her hit songs, is expected to make history by becoming the first African artist to win two Grammys in one night.

According to Billboard, she is poised to take home awards in three categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Global Music Album, and Best R&B Song.

Tems songs includes, Love Me Jeje which is favored to win Best African Music Performance, and her debut album Born In The Wild is predicted to win Best Global Music Album.

The 67th Grammys, hosted by Trevor Noah, are set for February 2nd in Los Angeles.

If she wins both, Tems would break new ground in the African music scene, with Burna Boy and Chris Brown also seen as contenders in the categories.
