Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has criticized the House of Representatives’ recent directive to shut down pornographic websites nationwide, calling it a case of misplaced priorities.
On Tuesday, the House instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to block access to all adult sites across the country.
Reacting on X (formerly Twitter), Blaqbonez questioned the decision, suggesting that adult content provides emotional relief for many Nigerians.
Using popular adult star Destiny Mira as an example, he tweeted:
“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her.”
