Davido Announces White Wedding with Chioma in August

Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially revealed the date for his white wedding with Chioma, nearly a year after their traditional ceremony.

During a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the singer shared that the wedding will take place in August 2025 in Miami.

He said, “I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year.”

Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding in June 2024 at Eko Hotels in Lagos. The ceremony was star-studded and widely celebrated, especially as the couple’s relationship has been closely followed by fans and the media.

Speaking on their journey, Davido reflected on their public relationship and past challenges, including the heartbreaking loss of their child, saying, “Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child.”
