Popular gospel singer Ebuka Songs has finally opened up about why he left Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation, after just 11 months, despite signing a three-year contract.
In a recent interview on the Open Up podcast, Ebuka revealed that his decision was driven by his desire to focus on his ministry.
“I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life. At that time, I had the anointing and gift but didn’t know how to go about it professionally” ,he said.
He emphasized that his departure was amicable and that he and Moses Bliss remain on good terms.
Ebuka also explained why he stayed silent about his exit for so long:
“I didn’t want it to generate unnecessary conversations. Sometimes, we reach a point where we need to focus on the next phase of our lives and God’s assignment for us.”
Moses Bliss had previously stated in December 2024 that Ebuka left to pursue his music independently.
