Korean Singer Wheesung Found Dead at Home

Popular South Korean musician Wheesung has been found dead in his apartment, his management announced on Tuesday.

His agency, Tajoy Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, “Artist Wheesung has left us. Our staff and colleagues are in deep sorrow.”

Emergency responders found the 43-year-old singer unconscious at 6:29 p.m. on Monday after his mother called for help. Police later stated that a “significant amount of time” had passed since his death, and an autopsy had been requested.

Wheesung was set to perform in Daegu this Saturday alongside singer KCM. In his final social media post, he wrote, “Weight loss completed. See you on March 15.”
