Legendary Hollywood movie star, Val Kilmer is dead

Val Kilmer, the Hollywood actor known for his roles in Top Gun, Tombstone, The Doors, and Batman Forever, has passed away at the age of 65. His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed the news on Tuesday night. Kilmer died in Los Angeles after battling pneumonia.

Kilmer was a prominent actor in the 1990s, starring in films like Heat, The Saint, and  Willow. However, his career faced setbacks due to conflicts with directors and co-stars, along with a series of films that didn’t perform well.

In 2014, Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer, but he later recovered. Despite being known for his intense and sometimes difficult personality, he remains a beloved figure in Hollywood.
