Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police following an alleged assault on state officials.
The incident reportedly occurred when officials from the town planning department visited his vicinity, only to be attacked and chased away by the singer and his associates.
Two weeks ago, nine members of Portable’s entourage were taken to court in Abeokuta for allegedly assaulting officials from the Ota Zonal Planning Office under the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
While his associates have been arrested, Portable remains in hiding, reportedly pleading for government forgiveness. The Ogun State Police have now officially listed him as a wanted person.
