Portable Surrenders to Police After Being Declared Wanted

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned himself in to the police after being declared wanted.

Portable, who was declared wanted on Monday, surrendered today at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba. He is now being transported to Ogun State, where he will be handed over to the police there.

Earlier, the singer had pleaded for mercy, claiming he was receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Aro, Abeokuta.

Portable was declared wanted for allegedly assaulting three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development at the Ota Zonal Office.
