American rapper Travis Scott is facing a lawsuit filed by Omar Muhanna, who claims he was injured by one of Scott’s security guards.
According to legal documents, the incident occurred on August 17, 2024, in Manhattan, outside a concert venue where Scott was performing.
Muhanna alleges that the security guard made violent physical contact with him, despite no provocation, resulting in serious and permanent injuries.
While Scott was in Manhattan for Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center, Muhanna claims the incident happened a few blocks away.
Scott’s representative has denied the accusations, stating that Scott was inside a restaurant at the time and had no involvement in the altercation.
Although the lawsuit does not directly involve Scott, it holds him responsible for hiring the security company. Muhanna argues that the guard had a history of violent behavior and that Scott should have been aware.
Scott’s team has dismissed the lawsuit as baseless, while Muhanna is seeking damages.
