Shakira has confirmed that her concert in Lima, Peru, will proceed as planned on Monday, despite a brief hospital stay that forced her to cancel a show the previous day.
The 48-year-old Colombian singer was hospitalized on Saturday night for undisclosed reasons but has since recovered.
In an Instagram post, she reassured fans that doors to the National Stadium in Lima would open at 4:00 PM, with the performance set to begin at 8:15 PM. However, she made no mention of her health in the announcement.
Her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women Don’t Cry Anymore) world tour, her first in seven years, recently launched in Rio de Janeiro.
The tour follows her Grammy win for Best Latin Pop Album, which she dedicated to migrants facing deportation.
Shakira is scheduled to perform nearly 50 concerts in Latin America before heading to North America for more shows later this year.
