Tyla attended her inaugural Met Gala on Monday evening donning an Olivier Rousteing-designed Balmain gown as she walked the red carpet.
Sandburgundy comprised Tyla’s garment, which encircled her form. In addition, the gown featured an extensive train.
In accordance with the dress code for the evening, “The Garden of Time,” and the occasion’s motif, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” the “Water” vocalist complemented her ensemble with gold jewellery and an hour glass held aloft in one hand.

“A few months ago, we sculpted Tyla’s body and ensured that she could be completely engulfed in sand,” Rousteing stated in an interview with Vogue. “It was as if she could don this dress only once, and it could potentially be acquired by the museum.” That was its fundamental concept.”
Additionally, Rousteing adorned himself with a sand top featuring a sculpted visage.
When being assisted up the stairs, the “Water” artist encountered some difficulty traversing the carpet due to the distinctive fabric of the dress.
