US Rapper, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Arrested In New York On Federal Charges

American rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested in New York on Monday night by federal agents at a Manhattan hotel after being indicted by a grand jury.

His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, criticized the U.S. Attorney’s Office for pursuing what he describes as an unjust prosecution.

Agnifilo stated that Diddy had voluntarily traveled to New York, anticipating the charges against him.

He emphasized that Diddy is a music icon, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has worked for over 30 years to uplift the Black community.

Although acknowledging that Diddy is not perfect, the lawyer insists he is not a criminal.

“These are the acts of an innocent man, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court,” Agnifilo said. Diddy is currently facing multiple sexual assault charges.
