The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has again started another cycle of staff restructuring by terminating the employment.
In this new phase of restructuring, about 40 staff of the apex bank, mostly from the development finance department (DFD) are going.
Fist Post gathered that the restructuring will affect deputy directors and assistant directors, with 22 individuals from the DFD and the remaining 18 from the Medicals and Procurement Services Department.
Fist Post reports that during the first phase of restructuring in the bank, about 27 staff members, mainly directors at the Central Bank of Nigeria, were asked to retire from service, which was followed by another one.
With the recent development, the number of staff affected has brought the total to 67.
