Aminu Ado Bayero cancelled Sallah durbar

Kano Emir that was removed by the present governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has announced his plan to cancel his proposed Sallah durbar.

There has been a serious tension in Kano when the Emir wrote to the state police command and other sister agencies that he’ll conduct the traditional Sallah durbar.

Governor Abba has earlier informed Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II and other emirs he enthroned to go and start preparing for the durbar.

The governor said durbar must go, insisting that he can’t deny his people what they want.

As the tension reach a climax, there were call for both side to shelve the durbar and allow peace to reign.

But in a video clip seen by Access Post on Wednesday night, Aminu Ado Bayero said he shelved the plan in order to avoid breakdown of law and order in the state.
