Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is close to shattering a long-standing record in the Saudi Pro League.

He’s guaranteed to end the season as the top scorer, but now there’s an even bigger achievement in sight.

In the recent 3-2 win against Al Okhdood, the Portugal captain scored his 33rd league goal of the season, meaning he’s now just one goal away from breaking the all-time league record held by Abderrazak Hamdallah (34 goals in the 2018-2019 season).

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 48 goals in 47 games this season, with 33 of those coming in the SPL.

The ex-Real Madrid man has scored 891 goals in his glittering career and is on the verge of hitting 900 goals.

That number could be within reach during the 2024 UEFA Euro playing for Portugal next summer in Germany.
