A senior chieftain of NNPP and an ally of Asiwaju Moshood Shittu has warned former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabu Musa Kwankwaso not to rush joining the coalition of political parties.
Recall that there is a ripe political calculations, with many talking about the possiblity of forming a strong political party that wrestle power from President Bola Tinubu.
Former governor of Kaduna state Malam Nasiru El-Rufai is the one leading the course, with suspected blessings of former vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.
There have been calls by many supporters, especially from the north for Kwankwaso to join the coalition.
Kwankwaso has however decided to keep quiet over the matter.
But in a statement, Shittu reiterated that Kwankwaso should take his time to study the situation before joining.
Shittu said even the merger that brought Muhammadu Buhari into power didn’t brought the desired change people were clamoring for.
