Headquarters of the Nigerian Army, have released the Delta monarch, Prince Clement Ikolo Ogenerukevwe, who was declared wanted for alleged involvement in killing of 17 soldiers personnel in Delta State.
First Post reports that few weeks after the soldiers were killed, the monarch and six others were declared wanted.
Few days after, the monarch submitted himself to the military, where he denied involvement in the killings.
However, earlier today, the military released the monarch, saying investigation is still ongoing.
The military added that the release followed intervention of some highly placed people from the area, seeking for his release.
