EFCC begins probe of alleged N423 billion fraud by El-Rufai

The EFCC have officially begin the probe of former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.

The anti graft agency is said to have already constituted a special team to probe the alleged siphoning of N423 billion by former Governor, and some of his aides and associates.

A source within the agency told The Nation that they will soon invite the former governor would for questioning.

Recalls that the Kaduna State House of Assembly had allegedly found El-Rufai wanton for money laundering money to the tone of N411 billion.

The House of Assembly committee further recommend a probe by the EFCC and ICPC.
