Emir Sanusi II restores Ado Bayero younger brother as Bichi District Head

Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II has approved the appointment of Alhaji Idris Bayero as the new District Head of Bichi.

Alhaji Idris Bayero, who is the Barden Kano was the district head of Bichi before the creation of Bichi Emirate Council by the former governor of Kano, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The appointment is coming in a day that Kano people are waiting for the court judgement over the expertee granted by a Federal High Court in Kano.

In an announcement from the Emirate Council, it says, “His Highness the Emir of kano, Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II has directed the Barden Kano, Alh Idris Bayero to take over as the new Bichi district head. Remember Barden Kano, Alh Idris Bayero, a junior brother to late Ado Bayero, was the former district head of Bichi before new emirare created.”
