Gov. Yusuf scores Head of Agencies, Departments High Over Outstanding Performance

The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed profound gratitude for the exceptional performance of Heads of Departments, Agencies, and parastatals, recognizing their significant contributions to the effective operation of the government.

This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Friday.

Governor Yusuf said this during an Iftar gathering with Managing Directors, Director-Generals, Executive Chairmen, Executive Secretaries of extra-ministerial departments and agencies, as well as Interim Management Committee Chairmen of the 44 Local Government areas at the Government House.

He emphasized that their appointments were made based on merit and trust in their ability to justify the confidence placed in them.

The governor urged them to uphold their integrity and remain dedicated to supporting his administration in delivering the devident of democracy and fulfilling campaign promises to the good people of Kano.

Alhaji Abba Kabir encouraged them to draw inspiration and skill from the political journey of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, assuring them of his unwavering support in elevating Kano State to greater achievements across all sectors.

He called upon the Interim Management Committee Chairmen to rise to the occasion and meet the high expectations of grassroots communities through perseverance, diligence, and the execution of developmental projects within their jurisdictions.

Participants who conveyed their well-wishes during the Iftar praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his effective governance approach, particularly in promptly addressing state matters and files brought before him.

They pledged to contribute positively by fostering innovation, dedication, and teamwork to restore the state’s former glory and expedite its socio-economic progress.
