Gunmen attacked kogi varsity, abduct students

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly attacked Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi state and abducted some number of students.

Reports said that the suspected bandits strokes at 9pm on Thursday.

Some students are said to have escaped the attack, while unspecified number of students are said to be abducted.

It is reported that it was local villantee in the area to repel the attack, but the bandits overpowered them with superior power.

When contacted the PRO, Kogi state Police command SP Williams Aya did not respond to the inquiry about the incidence.
