The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced an extension of the deadline for the payment of the Hajj 2024 fee. Intending pilgrims in the state are urged to utilise the new registration deadline of January 31 to submit a deposit of N4.5m.

The agency’s decision was prompted by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) extension of the deposit date for Hajj 2024.

The agency’s Executive Chairman, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, announced this information in a statement issued by its spokesman, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Malam Salihu urged all prospective pilgrims in the state to take advantage of the opportunity and promptly submit their Hajj deposit before the new deadline elapses.

“The extension offers a valuable opportunity for individuals who have not yet registered to fulfil their aspiration of performing Hajj,” he stated.

He emphasised that registration for intending pilgrims must be exclusively conducted by approved registration officers in all 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.

He instructed that in order to begin the procedure, prospective pilgrims should acquire a personalised bank teller from the officials prior to make their deposit.

He stated that the agency is dedicated to offering comprehensive assistance and direction to guarantee a seamless and prosperous Hajj journey for all prospective pilgrims. He strongly encouraged anybody contemplating Hajj 2024 to promptly take advantage of the extended period.
