‘I Never Met Nurse Who Injected Mohbad’ – Singer’s Father Denies Wunmi’s Allegation

Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer Mohbad, has denied allegations made by his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, that he prevented the arrest of the nurse who allegedly gave the fatal injection.

During an interview on February 19, 2025, Wunmi claimed that Aloba intervened to stop authorities from apprehending the nurse responsible for Mohbad’s treatment before his death.

However, in a TikTok live session on Tuesday, Aloba refuted the claims, stating, “I have never met the nurse. If I have seen her, it would have been on the internet. I never had any conversation with her or mentioned her in my account of what happened to Mohbad.”

His response came shortly after a Lagos State Magistrate Court cleared Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and PrimeBoy of involvement in Mohbad’s death. However, the nurse in question is set to face trial.
