People I helped in music industry betrayed me – Skales

Afrobeats singer Skales has spoken out about his relationship with artists he once helped rise to fame, expressing disappointment over their betrayals.

The Shake Body hitmaker revealed that many of those he supported in the past have now turned their backs on him. However, he remains grateful, stating that despite their actions, God has been faithful to him.

Skales also emphasized the importance of prayer and trusting in God, sharing that this was the best advice his late mother ever gave him.

On his X handle, Skales wrote:

“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how a lot of people turned their backs on me, including people I helped build up in this industry. But guess what? God never failed me even when I was isolated… Don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with everything you’ve got… Best advice my mom gave me!!!”
