A new sexual assault lawsuit has been filed against rapper and record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs.
An anonymous man from Southern California, identified as John Doe, has accused Combs of sexually assaulting him on the set of a commercial in 2022 or 2023.
According to a complaint filed in the New York County Supreme Court and obtained by USA TODAY, Doe, who described himself as a photographer/production assistant , claimed he had a conversation with Combs, who later invited him into his trailer.
Doe alleged that Combs then demanded oral sex, promising to help advance his career in return, calling the incident “blatant sexual quid pro quo.” The lawsuit states that Doe hesitated but felt pressured, believing that refusing could harm his career.
Doe is now accusing Combs of sexual battery and is seeking a jury trial.
In response, Combs’ legal team denied the allegations, stating:
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed—especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims—it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone; man or woman, adult or minor.”
They added that Combs is confident he will clear his name through the judicial process.
