Ibrahim announced this while giving the NASHIA Identification cards to the recipients in Keffi Local Government Area yesterday, which will grant them access to free healthcare services.

Ibrahim stated to journalists that the purpose of the gesture was to alleviate the difficulties experienced by certain segments of the population in terms of convenient access to healthcare services.

According to him, the group of persons who benefited from the programme consisted of 110 individuals, specifically the elderly, individuals with disabilities, children under the age of five, pregnant women, widows, and vulnerable individuals in the electoral wards in Keffi.

“I exerted myself due to my awareness of the challenging circumstances faced by certain individuals in the nation.” Consequently, their access to essential healthcare services is hindered, making it challenging for them to visit the hospital. In light of this, the individual contemplated the matter extensively and made the decision to assist them by financing their enrollment in the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency.

Ibrahim expressed his commitment to maintaining a tight collaboration with the agency in order to raise awareness among the residents of Keffi about the significance of health insurance and encourage more individuals to participate in the programme.Dr. Yahaya Ubam, Executive Secretary of NASHIA, also expressed his appreciation for the footballer’s act of kindness, particularly for his support towards the underprivileged.
