Top Nigerian Judge Dies

Justice Adegboye Ayinla Gbolagunte of the Oyo State High Court has died at the age of 64.

He passed away at 11 am on Monday, June 24, 2024, after a prolonged illness.

Justice Gbolagunte was the son of the late Chief Davidson Mokolade Gbolagunte, who served as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibarapa I Constituency under the Unity Party of Nigeria and later became the Speaker.

He is survived by his elderly mother, wife, children, and siblings. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
