Former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir Malam El-Rufai, has alleged that the governor of Kaduna state is milking the state treasury dry.
El-Rufai said the governor is using the local government chairmen by diverting their funds.
El-Rufai also accused the governor for allegedly using the diverted funds to buy properties in UK, South Africa and other countries.
El-Rufai made this allegations during the weekend in an interview with Freedom Radio at Kaduna.
He also accused the present governor of soliciting for 40% of any contract the state is giving out.
Governor Uba Sani is yet to react officially, but he was reported to have said he is actively engaged in governance, thus he doesn’t have time to waste.
