AFCON 2023: Alhassan Yusuf replaces injured Ndidi

Kano born Royal Antwerp midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has been called as a replacement for Wilfred Ndidi.
The Leicester City midfielder, Ndidi, has been ruled out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.
This is a major injury blow to the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Ivory Coast.

According to a report by Super Eagles in X, the mildfielder is expected to join his team mates in Abu Dhabi.
