Again, bandits kills six soldiers in Niger

Reports reaching First Post had it that bandits have once again killed about six soldiers in Niger state.

Tye incidence is said to have occured in Kagara, under Shiroro Local Government area.

The soldiers are part of the men nanning the area to ensure the security of life and properties.

It has also been reported they two farmers were also killed in the attack.

Confirming the incidence, a local sources told Daily Trust that the attack started around 9pm on Friday and lasted for hours, adding that, “Six soldiers lost their lives and one volunteer hunter.”

After killing the soldiers, the bandits that came in motorcycles, also burnt houses and food banks.

Niger State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun could not be reach for comment as at time of filing the report
