Army Shortlists Candidates For Direct Short Service

The Nigerian Army has shortlisted candidates for direct short service commission 28/2024.

Successful candidates are to report for officer cadet training at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna on Friday, 10 May, 2024.

DSSC Course 28/2024 is out and can be accessed on recruitment.army.mil.ng/military-secre. Officer Cadet training will commence on 10 May 2024 at the NDA, Afaka, Kaduna.

Candidates are to report to NDA with the following:

a. Original credentials including online printout showing his passport photograph(s).

b. Four copies of 5×7 coloured photoraphs in suit and in full standing position without cap/hat.

c. Two pairs each of unmarked white round neck vests and navy blue shorts (without
stripes).

d. Two pairs of pure white canvas/trainers (rubber type not acceptable)
e. Two pairs each of unmarked maroon round neck vests and navy blue track suits
(without stripes).

 

 

f. Two white shirts, one blue shirt, a black tie and a black bet.

g. Four pairs of white socks and 2 pairs of black socks.

h. Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wears.
i- One wrist watch
j. l. A pair of black laced shoes
k. Swimming trunk

l. Two white bed sheets and pillow cases.
m. One blanket (grey or army green colour).
n. Two set of cutlery
o. Pressing iron
p. Toiletries

Female candidates should come along with the following items in addition:

a. One pair of black low heel cover shoe
b. Two black lounge suits
c. A pair of trouser suit
d. Two black shorts

3. Serving military personnel are to come along with release letters and passes from their commanders/commanding officers
4. Successful candidate who fail to report on the aforementioned date will forfeit their vacancies to candidates on reserve.
5. Reserve candidates are NOT to report to NDA but will be contacted in the event of vacancies
6. There will be no vacant for Reserve candidates after 31 May 2024.
